Interactive :

Interactive term- Fields of study that include: teaching, communication, multi-media, interactive design, interactive learning and interactive teaching strategy. Interactive media can also refer to products and services on digital computer systems which then respond to the users actions by presenting content such as text, images, animations, video game, audio and V.R virtual reality. Movies and most TV shows are generally not considered as interactive media. However, shows that require audience participation could be considered interactive media.

Social medias that are computer-based technology that facilitates the sharing of ideas and information, and the building of virtual networks. From the design, social media is internet-based and offers users easy communication of personal information and other content, such as videos and photos. They can then engage with social media from computers, tablets or smartphones via website based software or web application, often utilizing it for messaging. Social media originated as a tool that people used to interact with friends and family but was later adopted by businesses that wanted to take advantage of a popular new communication method to reach out to customers. The power of social media is the ability to connect and share information with anyone on earth (or multitudes of people) as long as they also use social media. Social Media ,Social media can take the form from a variety of technical enabled activities, such as photo sharing, blogging, social gaming, social networks, video sharing, business networks, virtual worlds, reviews and more.

What is A.R-  meaning augmented reality, it is virtual that can enable certain things to change  , not including virtual reality which creates an different environment , augmented reality uses existing environments and further lays brand new information to the top.  A.R can be written in with 3d programming that allows a developer for the animation ,the application for phones and tablets include GPS. An example can be the IBM app, research shown by IBM has proved that 58% of consumers  want the product information in-store before a purchase. 19% of customers will browse mobile devices whilst shopping. IBM launched their AR app,  acting for a personal shopper, it uses augmented reality technology to provide shoppers with personalised information whilst browsing the shelves.

How does a.r compare to v.r -Augmented reality (AR) is a live direct or indirect view of  physical, world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated or extracted real-world sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. With virtual reality, you can swim with sharks, with augmented reality you can also watch a shark pop out of your business card. While VR is more immersive, AR provides more freedom for to user, and more possibilities for marketers because it does not need to be a head-mounted display.

How is A.r used within the industry- Augmented reality and virtual reality can give new opportunities to media creators.

Healthcare:There are a number of AR apps designed to improve healthcare, including Viipar, a video support platform for surgeons that functions from Google Glass as an example. When performing surgery, a less experienced surgeon can use the app as a guide. Through Viipar, a more experienced surgeon in a different location is able to show them how to complete the surgery via A.R hands protected onto the patient. Another app is Accu-Vein, which helps doctors and nurses to find patients’ veins quickly and without causing them any pain.Virtual reality's already been in use in healthcare for years. One VR experience, Snow World helps burn victims deal with the excruciating process of rehabilitation and wound care by distracting them with an immersive, snowy environment featuring snowball-throwing penguins.

Marketing/advertising:

Marketing is a strong arena for virtual and augmented reality. Major motion pictures like Star Wars, Jurassic World, Insurgent, The Avengers: and more have released VR experiences to generate interest, excitement, and a strong memory associated with the brand. 3D thinking, Extended Live Experiences, Virtual tours, Experienced products in E-commencing settings and using a creative social media tool can all play a part in the changes of A.r and V.R within the marketing and advertising industries. Comparing a major motion picture like Jurassic world for example will have a larger effect on the public working in advertising than a member of the public working in Healthcare this would confuse the public looking to improve on the health and viewing a motion of jurassic park and would prefer an A.R health related, for example someone suffering from headache and back pain.

Retail:

Retail can help augmented and virtual reality in ways that help businesses move through the purchase funnel. For example, augmented reality that calls a Mirror as it is  essential that the user can look into a tablet or use the app to change eye colour, makeup and looks.  It looks pretty when finished. It's a lot easier to spend money on expensive lipstick when you know it's going to look good on you. They also have other apps that let you try hair colour, nail colours, or wedding dresses. Examples: Warby Parker, converse shoes, IKEA, Topshop and American Apparel. Warby Parker is known worldwide as one of the best eyewear shopping sites in recent memory, Their virtual P.D tool is simple but effective, and its low barrier entry means that just about anyone can use it without the need for expensive home equipment. This compared with Converse shoes has a major difference, this being that the customer can choose their choie of converse from their own living room not having to move from their homes and not having to travel far for shoes that they try on and not like the feeling of. The converse shoes Augmented reality retail has a definite “wow” factor, and Converse took advantage by integrating social share features into the app. Customers could save photos of the virtual shoe try-on and share them to a variety of social platforms. Facilitating people’s natural inclination to ask their friends for fashion advice naturally serves as great marketing for the app, which itself is marketing the shoes.

What is V.R - Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology for a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds. By simulating as many senses as possible, such as vision, hearing, touch and smell, the computer is transformed into a gatekeeper to this artificial world. The only limits to near-real VR experiences are the availability of content and cheap computing power. Current VR technology most commonly uses virtual reality headsets or multi-projected environments, sometimes in combination with physical environments or props, to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment. A person using virtual reality equipment is able to "look around" the artificial world, move around in it, and interact with virtual features or items. The effect is commonly created by VR headsets consisting of a head-mounted display with a small screen in front of the eyes, but can also be created through specially designed rooms with multiple large screens.

Name Animation:  Using the program Adobe After Effects, I was able to create a basic name animation, this was to show that i knew the basics of this program and how to manufacture transitions that can be used to add effects to a project or just to stand out. I used anchor points and increased opacity to begin showing the transition of my name from one side to another, I then used a .psd file to begin an outline for my printed name to then begin the process of transitioning my name from one side to another, finally I added keychains to this animation so whilst transitioning it knew when to start, when it was crossing the screen and then to when it had finished moving across the screen.

Midkent College Logo Animation: https://youtu.be/5595KJzQXPk

Using Adobe Premier and After Effects I have created a brief animation of the Midkent College Logo, i created Keychains that were then able to process how long the Logo span and the duration of the animation that depends on the length of the keychains created prior to testing the animation. The animation can be made longer or shorter if the keychains are moved closer to each other or further apart, also you can include different animation for example: rotations, movement across a screen and floating up and down, left to right, This animation can be viewed on Youtube and can help with people who struggle to animate logos or any general images, if people are more confident then they can expand on the animation that i have created.

Analysis of Blippar Examples:

Example one- Cadburys Heroes Advent Calendar, (food and beverages ) . This Christmas, Cadbury's Heroes Advent Calendar offered more than just a chocolate behind every door, unlockable AR selfie filters. Each day users can unlock a new festive filter, from 'Fudge Christmas jumpers' to 'Twirly eyes'. This example is made to excite and intrigue its audiences to continue finding and building from these excitable selfie filters that spread across the nation at a vast rate. It was a 'big hit across many cities and counties, that has now been a success to the large majority and can be seen to be used for the foreseeable future.

Example two- Kellogg's college football: food and beverages, available in the U.S.A since 2017. Blippar and Kellogg's have teamed up to create the ultimate fun experience for americas most popular college football teams. Giving Walmart shoppers a chance to take their game watching to a new level with an interactive experience featuring a grid-iron game and a custom filter that allows fans to display their team spirit.A surprise duo as Kellogg's, a usual food healthy brand, joined with college football in the best of the American states that were offered, Blippar uses this experience to enchant  its younger users that look for a reachable goal in the future , aim high and achieve it in the best way possible, Blippar gives a start to this as school kids will love watching the A.R come to life right in front of their eyes.

'MY FIRST BLIPP'

PLAN/analysis for my current A.R. project using Blippar: I plan to animate my name transitioning across my computer screen on a vibrant and colourful background that is themed around space. I decided to choose a space themed background to use for my first Blipp as I believe it will make the blipp look colourful and vibrant when scanned from the trigger image, I would hope for the moon to spin or the asteroid to be moving when my Blipp is scanned to then make it look more realistic and to give the audience that use my Blipp an idea of what happens in space on a regular basis and to show that theres a lot more than just our planet moving within the universe.

Scanned Images: Code 706944

Trigger Image: code 706944

Explanation of my first Blipp: I cropped my trigger image to a suitable size for my first blipp, I decided to choose red as the colour that surrounds the earth and asteroid as I felt it would give an idea of all the possibilities that can happen in space for example; An eclipse ( solar or lunar) the living earth years coming to the end and galaxies being destroyed by the sun and the sun increasing until the planets cannot cope with the light and their being not enough darkness to keep the earth moving each 24 hours. The image slowly shows the earth being destroyed along with any nearby rocks/asteroids that also unfortunately have been destroyed too.

Evaluation of my first test project/ what I hope to achieve from my A.R project: My opinion on my first A.R project was that their were some positives and negatives, the negatives I would like to then change to positives when creating my own A.R project or Blipp. The positives I can take from my first Blipp project are that I had never used the Blippar app or website and I feel that I now have a much bigger idea on how it works and how I can use it to my advantages when creating my own A.R projects in the near future. I also now know how to screen record when planning and beginning A.R projects for the future and I can now create unique ideas going forward and use ideas from this first test Blipp to then create and achieve what I'm looking for from my first A.R project. Negatives that I can look at from this first blipp and change these into positives are that my screen recording of my first Blipp doesn't show the significant images that are included in My Blipp, this also included the fact that my trigger image wasn't included within my screen recording for my first Blipp, how I can improve this for my first A.R project is that I screen record all aspects of the A.R project, including trigger images, scanned images and a beginning proposal/plan before creating, this will then show how my A.R project was created and then the public can follow along and create it themselves

MY A.R PROJECT:

Research Ideas for A.R projects-

1. A Visualised  Menu : Imagine never having to remember to bring glasses to a restaurant also being able to dine anywhere in the world you wanted without requesting the menu in a specific language or simply knowing exactly what you’re going to get every time you order. Guler' uses this case to allow users to scan a menu and immediately see a 3D rendering item, as well as potentially helpful information.

2. Decorate a space or room virtually: In the future, you won’t have to worry about how a new sofa or coffee table will look in a room, you’ll simply be able to use ARKits' Augmented Reality to select and drop them in place. This will be a massive advantage  for online furniture retailers and decorators, who will no longer have to worry about pieces not working in a space or meshing together.

3. See how a new car looks in the driveway: A Norwegian developer is making A.R easier to justify why he should buy a new Tesla and that it is a little easier by using ARKit to imagine what it’ll look like once it finally makes it to his driveway. For carmakers, this is a great example for helping people visualise something they will then want to make real, for dreamers, seeing what that sports car will look like might give them the extra push to go out and buy.

4. Shopping Prior to spending and potentially wasting money: The early hints at the possibilities for using AR to virtually show that there are other shopping applications that can revolutionise the retail industry . For example a user could hold up an item of clothing in front of a phone and ARKit could immediately connect and show off the matching handbag, shoes and lipstick along with directions for how to purchase each item.

5. Google Translate IRL:

SWOT analysis of my ideas:

1. Visualised Menu. strengths; A visualised menu saves the hassle for the waiters trying to find menus if they've potentially run out and also reduces the hassle of the costumers as they won't have to spend hours browsing through every possible meal on the menu and force other costumers to wait until they have finished deciding what they would like, having a visualised menu will save time and can easily catch on as the next big improvement for the catering industry benefitting the costumers and the service.

Weaknesses; There can be negatives when it comes to having a visualised menu, for example looking through it and then choosing your order that you aren't able to track as its potentially being made and also some customers may have to translate, for example tourists, but their language to translate from English may not be available to the customers needs and they would have to change their location to somewhere that has their language so they are able to read.

Opportunities : this will be a great opportunity to meet new costumers within the area and to greet ongoing tourists that arrive in the area where the visualised menus are available and wouldn't be in the countries they are from, this would be an attraction as it would be something that hasn't been seen by people visiting from other countries.

Threats: A loss in customers because of restaurants being overflown with new tourists/customers so that regulars that visit often will eventually give up on their past experiences and move to somewhere different. A gain/overflow in customers from oncoming tourists who want to experience something they've never seen before.

2. Virtually decorating a room. Strengths: Furniture and ornaments can be put into the places that u plan to put them when they are bought online or in-store however their is a smaller chance of you buying furniture that then doesn't fit in the place where you intentionally bought it for, however with the help of V.R and virtual decorating the customers can now have a better idea of what sizes of furniture can be bought for their houses and not having to overspend on something that then isn't going to fit where you thought it would, this is a huge benefit to customers.

Weaknesses:Potentially not enough money to afford the furniture your after despite having the space for new furniture that you wanted, also the size of furniture may not be the size you thought it would be this would cause there still being a lot of space if it was smaller than you thought or being forced to move ornaments/furniture around to fit the space it needs.

Opportunities: Having a better knowledge of what you are able to buy from the space that is available to you, it reduces the chances of wasting money, it will save the customers a large variety of money for potentially using this V.R decorating again.

Threats: A reduced risk of wasting money when buying furniture or ornaments yet its still a possibility as their might be a difference from the V.R to the store you are buying from.

3. Preview of how a car will look on your driveway.

Strengths: You will be able to have a greater idea of the spacing it will allow your car to have when bought also with their being different styles/types it will give you as a customer a fantastic range of cars that you will be able to compare towards what you are looking for, a slim sports car that leaves a variety of space on the driveway for other uses or a large heavy-duty or 4x4 that will cover the majority of the driveway and will leave limited spacing.

Opportunities : Car manufacturers, buyers and sellers will be delighted with the amount of attraction they will be receiving from this V.R discovery.

Weaknesses: May not be made to scale, sizes may not match from the V.R to IRL. You may have to change the type/style depending on quantity or quality or costs.

Threats: Loss of money if the choice you make doesn't fit the length/depth of your driveway, If you were able to fit the car onto your driveway but there was barely any room left then there is a severe risk of damage and safety.

4. V.R shopping prior to spending:

Strengths- You will be able to compare prices from the V.R to other online shopping websites for you to then be able to find the best deal/price. Comparing balance of your bank account after shopping IRL to shopping from V.R

Weaknesses- the values will differ along with quantity and quality of the products as well as whether they have been used and are being sold again from the buyer or whether through time they have worn out.

Opportunities: Online shopping companies who may not have many customers will begin to receive new offers from new customers that can then let their relatives know about a shopping website that would then increase their popularity towards the general public , this would be the case for any online shopping companies that are of a small budget.

Threats: All depending on budget whether this would be able to continue in the future or whether for a limited time will online shopping companies be able to keep the increase demand for products the general public are wanting. This could cause online shopping companies to lose the customers that they gained from their increased budget yet then slowly losing them due to the budget decreasing oil there is nothing left to catch the public eye.

5. Google Translate IRL:

Strengths- Travellers and tourists from one country to another may have trouble reading directions and communicating with others, with google translate IRL people from other countries will be able to use this to their advantage as for example, if they are stuck and need directions to find their destination they can just use the app point the camera towards the road signs and then convert it from English - Italian for example and straight away the camera will show the text from the road sign however it will appear in their countries language so they will then know where to go.

Weaknesses: Their maybe tourists from countries that aren't available to translate communication into their language , as an example tourists from Japan may not be able to locate where they are in London as the V.R app is unable to translate from English to Japanese, this would cause problems for certain tourists who will then struggle to find a way of communicating with others.

Opportunities: It opens up opportunities for the educational needs for foreigners that have travelled from their home country to a better more wealthy country that they can then use the Google translate V.R. to help them with work that they will struggle to understand but will be able to from using the V.R translate to their most familiar language to understand.

Threats: There will be a slight threat of over populating particular countries if this V.R begins to fully effect the majority of the public by helping them with; communication, work or potentially a job, it will send the world into uproar if for example: tourists travel to London from Italy and the travellers from Italy use the V.R translator to read from their own language that then can potentially lead to a better career this will then send a 'signal' to other Italians looking for better careers that they should move to London and use this V.R translator for a better job/career.

Basic plans:

1. A visualised menu can be used for the public that struggle to read the English language for example and can then feel more comfortable using the translator A.R so then they can read the meals in their home language. Scan particular meals and desserts that the public will be tempted ordering, then place at least 2 menus on each table the first being a normal English written menu and the second menu being a printed menu that has been translated from the A.R app to then be read by the public that for example have difficulty in speaking/reading English.

2. Virtually decorating a room before purchasing any unwanted items; Using a V.R app to display wanted items or furniture and for it to be compared within a space so that the correct decision is made before purchasing wanted furniture or goods to fit within a certain space, Select a item from the V.R app and then compare the size of the product on the app to how it would look IRL and then you'll be able to make a decision on whether to purchase the item your wanting or perhaps have to change size or select a different product that will fit the space thats available.

3. Previewing how a car will look on a driveway; Select a car that you are unsure whether to go ahead and purchase and then compare the car your wanting to buy with the space that is available in the driveway, if a customer is wanting a sports-car then you'll have to compare the design, width and depth of the car to the size of the driveway to then be able to have a final decision on whether to purchase the car your wanting or having to change style, design and size.

4. Shopping V.R before spending: Simply whilst out shopping by yourself or with friends, find the V.R scanner and it will compare the price of the item of clothing your wanting to better or worse prices from different clothing lines; for example you maybe out Christmas shopping looking for new clothes for your children then you come across an item of clothing your looking for but before buying this use the V.R app to compare prices of that item in one shop to multiple other shops in the area so that you'll be getting the best price for what you are wanting.

5. Google translate IRL: Have an example of how this will help with communication and studying from having a language your not familiar with then translated into the language that you've been brought up from, this will help you into knowing where/when to travel and to also help meet deadlines and study what they want you to rather than just guess because you may not be familiar with the spoken language that your teacher or students talk about. Use the app to compare how maps/locations look when compared from English to multiple other languages along with study books, encyclopaedias and items that have d=writing upon them yet others may not know what is being said.

Justification; my final choice is to use Google Translate V.R IRL:

My final choice towards this project is using the Google Translate V.R IRL, for helping with communication, studying and more wealthy jobs to apply for compared to other countries. My initial plans for this is to print out maps and locations in English that other members of the public may not know where they are located so they'll have to scan the map to then translate it into the language they can then need to follow the destination they are looking for. An example towards this can be the map of the London Underground; Day by day London is becoming one of the most rapidly growing populations in the world and is still vastly increasing to this very date/time. There is a large majority of the population in London are people of the public that have flown over from countries all over the world to find a better career and lifestyle in London compared to where they grew up. The map of the London Underground is extremely helpful to the public for they're destinations to work on a daily basis, a helpful example of this would be a South-african doctor who needs to get to Clapham Monday-friday to work the hours he needs for a better career and better earnings than where he grew up in South Africa, however the map for the London Underground is printed in English and he can't understand from reading it where he needs to go for his first day of his new job, he asks members of the public which way he needs to travel before reaching Clapham, multiple members of the public tell him where he needs to go but he struggles to understand the English language and prefers to communicate with others with the Afrikaans language which is native to his country where he grew up. With all these problems their is one thing to solve all of this and thats for him to use the new V.R app from google translate to show him where to go for his destination of work, he finds the app google translates V.R included, then he finds the London Underground map and holds his phone directly in-front of the map, he then selects to translate from English to his native language Afrikaans, and then ' hey presto' his phone now displays all the directions of the London Underground in his native language and he can now look to see where Clapham is and he can screenshot whereabouts it is located on his phone so that then whenever he gets lost he can look on his phone for where Clapham is located in his Native language and he has no problems communicating in a language he isn't familiar with.

Proposal of my idea:

Product: The Google Translate Virtual Reality camera that can be used on a daily basis for members of the public that aren't familiar with the most common language and that would prefer to communicate and locate using the V.R app that can translate into a more suitable and comfortable language that they are used to and this will also help members of the public when traveling, studying and understanding the meanings of certain possibilities that might be open to them; for example a student who is from Japan has been offered a job at a clothes store but he doesn't know what he is expected to know before being interviewed for the job, he tries to look around for any help he can get but is unsuccessful however the translate app helps him to discover what he needs to know and understand by translating the needed information into the language of Japanese that he's more familiar with.

Target Audience: This V.R app can be aimed at many people, mostly to benefit newcomers or foreigners from other countries who are either visiting another country for a temporary holiday or moving to a different country full-time usually for a better paid job then where they worked before that being in another country; for example the wages for a job in England are much better than the wages that are available than Nepal or Egypt for examples. It will mainly benefit middle aged adults 30-50 and young children 11-18 who are either on a weeks travelling with school/college for the sights and the differences in Agriculture from their homeland to another country they are visiting, for children travelling it benefits education and increases the understanding in other languages that they may struggle with in school for example; french students/french exchange students visiting England and are unable or unfamiliar with the English language rather than the French language they were brought up upon.

Intended Purpose: The usual purpose towards translation is to benefit most who don't understand or recognise the most used language whether that is a language used the most in a country or around the world; The most popular spoken language is Chinese ( Mandarin ) followed by English, Spanish followed y Hindu and Arabic. Not every person in existence will have known every language in existence, this is why translation is one of the best ways to understand the popular language spoken in a different country from where they were raised, another most known way for translation is for students and their studying, students will learn at least one language in school/college, However a decision to go to university can result to some students having to learn many more languages that a translator will have to help them with to then past their tests and exams.

Summary of Research:

Comparison 1: Japanese to English, "I’ve lived in the country for the last three and a half years, and while I can order a drink in a restaurant and catch trains on time."  Still troubled by the population of official documentation, gadgets and local websites. A vegetarian, list of ingredients are also a problem this particularly includes a country that regularly places chicken powder or fish  in otherwise vegetable friendly foods. Previously tried to learn hundreds of animal foods on the chance that spotting one while scanning a product’s box, but the updated  technology could make life a lot easier.

Comparison 2: Machine/app Vs Human:

Machine/app pros and cons:

Pros:

The main 2 pros are that its faster and cheaper;

Many free tools are readily available to use ( Skype, Alexa the amazon toy, Amazon Echo, Siri, etc.)

Quick turnaround time,

You can translate between multiple languages using one tool,

Translation technology is constantly improving.

Cons:

The level of accuracy can be very low, not reliable,

Accuracy is very inconsistent across different languages,

Machines can’t translate context ,

Mistakes can be the main reason towards a failed translation,

Sometimes translation just simply doesn’t work.

Human Translation Pros and cons:

Human translation is essential , a higher standard of accuracy comes at a price of longer times and higher costs. What you have to decide is whether the initial investment has more potential than the cost of mistakes. The other possible options are whether mistakes simply aren’t an option.

Pros:

It’s a translator’s job to produce the highest accuracy of translation,

Humans can follow the context and capture the same/equal meaning, other than simply translating words,

Human translators can review their work and process any improvements that need to be made,

Humans can track the creative use of language, e.g. metaphors, slogans, similes and Slang/accents,

Professional translators can understand the differences between their languages and others,

Humans can spot pieces of content where literal translation isn’t possible and find the most suitable alternative.

Cons:

  • The Turnaround time is longer than machines or apps,

  • Translators rarely work for free,

  • Unless you have a translation agency, with access to thousands of translators it then limits the languages that any one translator can work with.

A basic example of human translation is the best option when the accuracy is even remotely important, the other considerations that need to made are the complexity of your source material and the two languages you’re translating between – both of which can render machines that can become pretty useless.

Comparison 3- Humanoid Robots Vs Humans translations

Pros and Cons of  Humanoid robots:

Pros:

  1. Cost;  The best advantage of robots is their cost. Robots are cheaper than most and their costs are still decreasing.

  2. Abilities: Robotic abilities what robots can do are now extremely vast and growing at a vast pace.

  3. Productivity: Robots do not tire and can work very long hours without a service or maintenance. This results in robots being significantly more productive than people.

  4. Precision: Robots can be more precise than people. For example, robots should not be scared or shake as human hands do. This also includes robots that can have much smaller and versatile moving parts than people. As a result, robots have even performed medical surgeries, because they can be more precise than most people.

  5. Strength: Without any doubts, robots can be stronger than people.

  6. Speed: Additionally, robots can be significantly faster than people too.

  7. Size: Robots can come in any size. Whatever size needed for any task can be created.

  8. Environment: Robots can be designed to work in extremely harsh environments, such as in space, without air, underwater, fire, etc. Thus, robots can be used instead of people when human safety is a concern.

  9. Dangerous and Unwanted Work: Finally, robots can do jobs that people are unwilling to do. For instance, many robotic probes have been sent throughout the solar system to never return back to Earth. I don’t think many people would be willing to do those types of jobs.

  10. Warfare: Using robots in warfare eliminates putting more people at risk and has proven to be very successful.

Cons:

Jobs: In my opinion, the biggest issue with using robots is the huge loss of jobs for people. Basically, robots have eradicated a wide range of middle class jobs in several industries, such as car manufacturing.

Limited Functions: Robots are very good at doing perfectly defined jobs, however robots typically do not handle the unexpected as well as people do.

Lack of Intelligence: Since robots are not intelligent or sentient, robots can never improve the results of their jobs outside of their predefined programming. In other words, robots do not think. At least, not yet.

Lack of Emotions or Conscience: Similarly, robots do not have emotions or conscience; therefore, robots lack empathy and all of the advantages that come with it. As a result, this limits how robots can help and interact with people.

Action and Process: While robots can be sent to other planets and distance moons to help colonise them, they cannot build an independent functioning society.

Danger: Robots can be extremely dangerous. Whether robots are malfunctioning or designed for warfare, robots can be very hazardous to people.

MY FINALISED A.R PROJECT

Why I decided to change my original idea: My original idea was to make an A.R Blipp based upon worldwide A.R translation that would purely benefit the population of people that aren't used to or haven't heard of the main language of the country they now live in, the usual plan for foreigners would be to move to a better, broader country that has a better pay wage and the currency is worth a lot more than the country they may have been bought up upon. However, I changed my idea of this due to the fact that I was unhappy with the final outcome of that idea and it didn't showcase what i had intended it to do. This made me change my idea from using A.R translation to then start and create a blipp based upon Egypt, as it is possibly a place where I am visiting in the summer, i felt like this idea would be easier to showcase its qualities as well as a few things that the audience might not know about Egypt; the main Egyptian flag and some of its most famous footballers that I included in my Blipp creation. Looking back upon my original idea, I am happy now that I changed my idea from the translation A.R to the Egyptian based Blipp creation.

Peer Assessments:

1. Dominic Cornford - The peer assessment I received from Dom was given to me with a variety of opinions. The first being that he thought my created V.R was a lot better than my original idea that I was planning to work with, he said that the fact that I changed my idea was  a very good idea of mine and said that the V.R I did create was a lot better than how the first idea would have looked if I had originally stuck with that idea, he was happy that I had made the right decision to change my idea to what it is now rather than keeping the original. He also liked the fact that it wasn't basic and included rotating/moving images as well as an link with more information about my chosen topic ' Egypt ' he thought that's very useful and that anyone who is unsure whether to visit the country for a holiday or not then they should test my V.R about it and then watch the linked video to give the audience an idea of what to expect when traveling there. The negative points that were explained to me was that, their could have been a little more detail included about my topic and that my trigger image wasn't always working which then made the blippar app struggle to pick up a signal whilst searching for the trigger image to then make the V.R viewable to all.

2. Liam Richardson - The peer assessment I received from Liam was much similar to the peer assessment I received from Dom. Liam agreed that my V.R that I had created was a lot better than my first original idea, he explained that my project was very interesting and can catch the attention of others rather than my original idea, which he said would've been boring and not very creative, which I can agree with. He liked the images that I used to base my topic upon, and the movement that came upon with them, he explained that my project would actually make him consider a brief holiday to Egypt, that after discovering more about it with the Link to information about the country that also includes the various sight-seeing places and the much loved weather of the location. He did also give me some negative feedback that is greatly appreciated, he explained that my project wasn't exactly created as it was first originally sounded, he expected it to be more eye-catching yet still was impressed with some of the features but he said that I need to focus further if this project had to be repeated, also making sure that my original idea didn't have to be changed as it caused a rush to get all the proposal and examples of other blipps to be changed and explain differently.

Evaluation:

My final V.R creation I think was effective in certain ways, I believe that the topic that I changed my original idea to was a better idea than what I had originally had planned to create. It can be looked at for advice on whether to perhaps start saving for a holiday to Egypt this can be helped by viewing the link that is featured within my V.R project, it will benefit some who might be looking for advertisements of perhaps cheaper holidays than some, well this can be a complete mind changer depending on whether it interests the viewer, for some it will others may view the linked video and think otherwise, it cant please everyone but the fact that it'll please some is all that is asked. I could improve my project by firstly actually having this idea from the very beginning, I do think that changing my first idea was a good decision, however not everything is positive, I think my proposal should have been explained differently after I had changed my idea. My blippar created V.R was helped by a friend of mine who is studying computing, I had the ideas written down and explained to him where I wanted each image to appear in the blipp , I did observe closely so I now understand more about blippar than I did at first but I need to show that I do know how my V.R was created step-by-step and also show how my images move/rotate and how the link was included within my project. I have learnt some brief skills/techniques which are creating a trigger image and getting it to link with my project, it does take a while to connect the trigger image to see my creation so when about to be observed the blippar app camera must be held over a very short distance so that the trigger image finds it easier to connect, I also observed how to create shapes, include links that feature in my project and how images/shapes can be rotated and I'll definatly know how each of these work if someone asked me to show them. My biggest achievement from this project  would be that I was able to change my original idea yet still be able to have created an idea to base my project upon and that it can still be to good enough standard even if it wasn't my ideal creation I still feel like it was the best decision to change my idea as I now prefer it to my first plan.
